Mit Resten auf den Tellern befasste sich der Gemeinderat in seiner wöchentlichen Sitzung. Wenn jeder sein Tellerchen leer isst, dann gibt es auch weiterhin schönes Wetter in Alanya und Umgebung. Bürgermeister Hasan Sipahioğlu diskutierte das Problem mit sehr ernstem Hintergrund mit den Mitgliedern des Gemeinderates. Millionen Menschen auf dieser Erde hungern und es gehe nicht an, dass Lebensmittel vernichtet werden müssen.
Die Restaurants mögen verbleibende Reste auf den Tellern verpacken und den Gästen zu späterem Verzehr mitgeben. Eine Beschilderung soll die Gäste auffordern, ihre restlichen Mahlzeiten mitnehmen zu dürfen. Diese Aufforderung wurde seitens der Behörde bereits verschickt:Sehr geehrter Gastwirt! Eines der größten Probleme in der Gastronomiestellen die Essensreste dardie tonnenweise in den Müll wandern. Dies schadet nicht nur der Wirtschaft des Landes, sondern bedeutet auch eine Verschwendung von wertvollen Lebensmitteln und Rohstoffen. Millionen von Menschen sterben den Hungertod und es fördert weitere Hungersnöte sowie Lebensmittel- und Rohstoffknappheit. Um dieser unnötigen Vergeudung in Alanya vorzubeugen, werden die Restaurants künftig den Gästen auf deren Wunsch die Reste ihrer Mahlzeiten hygienisch verpackt beim Verlassen des Restaurants mitgeben. Auch auf den Speisekarten wird künftig auf diesen Service hingewiesen. Bereiten Sie sich und ihren Betrieb vor, mit Beginn der Saison diesen Service anzubieten.HasanSİPAHİOĞLUBürgermeister von Alanya
