Alaaddin Çakýr, Bürgermeister von Mahmutlar: in den Jahren 2003-2005 seien über 5.000Iimmobilien an Ausländer verkauft worden. Derzeit warten noch 4.000 Wohnungen, erst teilweise fertig gestellt, auf Käufer.
